Shaper Bodies    These shaper bodies are made of cast marine bronze.  The clamping hardware is machined of brass bar stock.  Many possible sizes of reeds have been boiled down to 5 general shapes and sccomodated by the design of these shapers.  They also provide a 'softer then steel' backing to protect the blades of knives.    Small Shaper  Dimensions:  1 23/32" blade length, 1/4" tube end width, and 19/32" blade width. Applications:  baroque oboe, oboe d'amore;  s, a, nicolo shawm;  chalamini; s dulician.    $75.00    Medium Shaper / Wide Blade  Dimensions:  2 11/32" blade length, 15/32" tube end width, and 27/32" blade width.  Applications:  baroque rackett & bassoon;  b shawm; b dulician; s 7 a crumhorn/cornamuse/kortholt;  ss & s rauschpeife.  $75.00    Medium Shaper / Narrow Blade  Dimensions:  2 3/16" blade length, 1/4" tube end width, and 19/32" blade width. Applications:  a & t dulician; a & t shawm;  cant rackett;  modern bassoon.  $75.00    Large Shaper / Narrow Throat  Dimensions:  2 3/4" blade length, 15/32" tube end width, and 13/16" blade width.
